Here are entered comprehensive works on the Olympics, as well as general works on the summer Olympics. General works on the winter Olympics are entered under [Winter Olympics.] Works on the summer or winter Olympic games of a particular year are entered under the appropriate name heading, e.g. [Olympic Games (21st : 1976 : Montréal, Québec); Olympic Winter Games (20th : 2006 : Turin, Italy)]

Directory metadata is not a factual answer or evidence of a global knowledge gap.
